From dramatic hillsides to vineyard gardens, the most prominent feature of Chalk Hill is diversity.

The 1300+ acre property, nestled within the Russian River Valley, includes a winery, a hospitality center, culinary garden, residence, stables, equestrian pavilion, sports fields, fishing and swimming ponds and a wilderness area. Only 350 acres of the Chalk Hill estate have been planted to vineyards, thoughtfully woven amongst the native oak woodlands, meadows and streams. Chalk Hill, an early adopter of sustainable farming practices, uses low-impact farming, natural fertilizing and hand picking to preserve ecosystems, protect wildlife and ensure the indigenous character of the wines. The complexity of the Chalk Hill’s terroir allows for the cultivation of a wide range of varietals including Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, Semillon, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Syrah, and Carmenere.
